Limited edition of 200. Facsimile of a medieval manuscript

Dominican Publications are delighted to be official distributors to the Dominican Order, its friends and associates, of the limited edition of the Vatican Library's illuminated manuscript, Modi Orandi Sancti Dominici (Codex Rossianus 3) produced by the prestigious art-book publishers, Belser Verlag of Stuttgart. With it are volumes containing an English translation by Leonard Boyle op, Prefect of the Vatican Library, and a very enlightening commentary in English by Jean-Claude Schmitt, Paris, an
acknowledged expert on the Nine Ways.

This work will have a special appeal for Dominicans, as it reaches back to the early years of the Order, bringing the reader into contact with what was most intimate and important to Dominic.

It will be of great interst to many others as well, because the illuminations influenced Fra Angelico, and the reproduction here is far superior to any hitherto available.

This edition is limited to 200 copies, and orders will be handled in strict sequence. The work will not be reprinted, and cheques received after the edition has been sold will be returned.
